Ilir Meta seems not to be angry with Lulzim Basha for burning the mandates, describing the latter as an ordinary fraudster.

In his speech at the National Convention, he said that he was against the opposition's bet to leave the parliament in February 2019.

Meta accuses the government of having planned the burning of the mandates and the boycott of the local elections, where the LSI won only 4 of the 19 mandates in the April 25 elections.
