The DP MP, Agron Shehaj, has supported the opposition candidate for Tirana's municipality, Belind Kelliçi, saying that his plan for free public transport is feasible and would help 200,000 citizens of Tirana.

According to Shehaj, this benefits the middle and lower classes of society who use the city every day.

"Nëse qytetarët do t'i besojnë drejtimin e bashkisë së Tiranës, ka filluar me një premtim shumë të mirë sipas mendimi tim, siç është urbani falas në Tiranë. është një premtim mëse i realizueshëm, kushton 20 mln euro në vit, janë rreth 6% e buxhetit të Tiranës, nuk janë pak, por është i realizueshëm. Unë mendoj se është gjëja më e mirë që mund të bëhet.

Përfiton shtresa e mesme dhe ulët e cila përdor çdo ditë urbanin për të shkuar në punë, për të shkuar në shkollë.
