The General Secretary of the SP, Damian Gjiknuri, has revealed the reason why the socialists have decided to compete again in the municipality of Maliqi, with Gëzim Topçi, who this time seeks the seventh mandate.

Gjiknuri said that it is very difficult to find qualities or leadership in a small municipality and emphasized that this will be the last mandate for Topçi.

" In small municipalities sometimes in Albania it is very difficult to have all the qualities and leadership. The smaller the municipality in terms of population, the more difficult it is to replace them when there is a good candidate.

He will win the elections and it will be his last mandate. Sometimes it is difficult to find candidates who guarantee victory and good management of the municipality ", said Gjiknuri./ CNA.al
