"Nisma Thurje" submits the list to the CEC/ Nominates only one

"Nisma Thurje" has submitted to the Central Election Commission the list of candidates for the May 14 local elections.

In a statement to the media, the head of "Nisma Thurje", Endrit Shabani, said that his party has not focused on the race for mayor and therefore will produce only one candidate for Dropilli.

He emphasized in a press statement that they will compete for municipal councils in 10 municipalities of the country.

"We will compete for municipal councils in Elbasan, Përrenjas, Kukës, Tropojë, Kurbin and Mirditë, Klos and Mat, and Korçë, of course also in Tirana. We have chosen to run for mayor of Dropull. Since Dropull we have a strong candidate who has a very high probability of winning. We are not offering citizens an election for mayor, because at this stage we are in, it is impossible to win this race. But we can win the city council. I would call on citizens today to pay more attention to city parliaments. Tell me 5 members of the municipal council of Tirana. You don't know any of them", said the head of "Nisma Thurje".
