Results from May 11/ Çelaj: They were the most violated and distorted

Isuf Çelaj reacted this Sunday afternoon regarding the results of the parliamentary elections of May 11. Through a post on social networks, Çelaj expressed his gratitude for receiving the mandate, while emphasizing that in the entire 35-year history of pluralism, these were the most violated and distorted elections.

Çelaj adds that the DP will defend the dignity and free vote of Albanians, which can no longer be fixed numbers of mandates scrawled on a disposable tablecloth, the result of an electoral fraud.

In their complexity, these elections were neither free nor equal. In the entire 35-year history of the post-90s, these were the most violated and distorted elections. We faced conditions of extreme inequality with the machinery of the only narco-state in Europe. The use of the state budget, criminal structures, intimidation of citizens and other manipulations were worthy only of the regimes of Maduro and Bashar Assad.

We, as the Democratic Party, with Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha, will defend the dignity and free vote of Albanians. Albanians can no longer be fixed numbers of mandates scrawled on a disposable tablecloth, the result of an electoral fraud.

Albanians will once again be free to choose their dignified leaders and representatives.
