Reactions to the decision on Berisha/ The Constitutional Court gives

The Constitutional Court has had a reaction regarding the decision for the head of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha in relation to the "Partizani" file.

In an announcement to the media, the Constitutional Court has clarified that the decision refers to the security measures "compulsion to appear" and "prohibition of leaving the country", and not to the consideration of the "house arrest" measure.

The "constituent" emphasizes that as far as the evaluation of the "house arrest" security measure is concerned, the request related to this measure was registered in the Court on 18.11.2024, and will be the subject of another judicial review according to the deadlines and rules of provided for in the law.

Based on the news and opinions in the media and portals, regarding yesterday's decision-making by the Constitutional Court, we clarify that the decision refers to the security measures "obligation to appear" and "prohibition of leaving the country", and not to the consideration of the measure "arrest at home".
