The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, through a post on social networks, describes the May 14 local elections as the spring of victory, saying that wherever he goes there is enthusiasm and optimism.

The chief democrat thanks the citizens for their support, writing that they will defeat monism and that Albanians have understood who Prime Minister Edi Rama is, calling him a shame for the world and the country.

There is great enthusiasm and optimism for the opposition's victory on May 14.

Wherever I go, I have held the most enthusiastic meetings, as you have found yourself, in Korça, Pogradec, Belsh, Mirdita, in all areas I have presented candidates with a high degree of popularity. Today I am in Vlora, yesterday I was in Lushnje.

So, spring will be the spring of victory. Although these are local elections, this will be the spring of victory over monism.

I express my gratitude to the citizens for the revolt they express against the machinations of Edi Rama with his two hostages.
