Prime Minister Edi Rama said that Albania produces toxic waste from industrial processes.

He stated that this is more normal, but emphasized that they are handled through the recycling and disposal process.

"No type of analysis has been carried out, neither by the carrier, nor by the transit country in the EU, nor by the host country. Analyzes are not done because not every load is analyzed. Only in the fantasy of those who do not know about the affairs of the state, analyzes are made. Since 2017, we have a rate of physical checks, higher than the EU. In the end, are waste produced from industrial processes in Albania? Of course it is and it is more normal. Just as politics produces waste. According to the law, hazardous waste is handled through the recycling and disposal process. Many mouths are telling the Albanians that the waste will come to Albania. Today, our country has in the port of Durrës a file of inspections that define that port as safe", said Rama in the Assembly./ CNA
