Çllirim Gjata, a member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, debated yesterday evening in a television studio with Adriatik Lapaj, the leader of the "Albania Becomes" party.

The cause was the defendant's hiring of former prime minister Sali Berisha by SPAK.

Gjata raised accusations against SPAK prosecutors, while raising questions about why prime minister Edi Rama and the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, are not charged.

"Those prosecutors have their panties down, why don't they take Edi Rama, Erion Veliaj as defendants, millions of euros have disappeared only with the incinerators that we don't have today", he said.

Lapaj mocked Djata, stating that the opposition claims that Rama controls SPAK and on the other hand cooperates with him.

"Good or bad, we have this SPAK, this Special Court", said Lapaj, prompting the reaction of the democrat.
