Rama reacts to the elections in Hungary: I wish Orbán the best, we

Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted this Monday after the results of the parliamentary elections in Hungary.

Through a post on the 'X' platform, Rama wishes Viktor Orbán all the best in continuing his public engagement after 16 years in power, while congratulating Prime Minister-elect Peter Magyar on his impressive victory.

Rama expresses his commitment to close cooperation between the two countries, now with a new prime minister for Hungary, to become even closer to Albania.

"It has been a special pleasure to collaborate with Prime Minister Orbán and to witness firsthand Albania's rapprochement with Hungary. I wish my good friend, Viktor, all the best in this new chapter of his life."

"At the same time, I heartily congratulate Peter Magyar on his truly impressive victory. I wish the newly elected Prime Minister of Hungary every success in his effort to open a new chapter for the country and express my readiness to cooperate closely, with the aim of bringing our two countries even closer," Rama wrote. /CNA
