The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in today's meeting with the Colleges of Speakers, also spoke about the possibility of the opposition abandoning Parliament. Berisha said that abandoning Parliament is exactly what Rama wants to happen, but the opposition will not do it.

The chief democrat said that there are many reasons for the opposition to leave Parliament, but they will do everything to remove Rama from power.

Regarding the opposition protests, Berisha stated that they are legitimate in every act of peaceful uprising.

In his speech, Berisha also said that the Democratic Party has left behind the problems it had and its only problem now is Rama.

 

"We are in the last mile. I say it again here, I will always say it. What does this mean? This means that we have left the problems we had behind. Now we have a problem. And this is the problem of Edi Rama, the power of crime. And we must stand with him with all our strength. Time proves that protest is our main weapon. He annihilated the parliament, like never before. The parliament is non-existent. It does not allow any parliamentary investigative commission. It does not accept any interpellation. It does not accept any debate with a motion. Our MPs are not brought the information, the documents according to the mandatory law. He gives not one, but 1000 reasons for us to abandon the parliament. We do not do it. No. Precisely because he wants to. We do not do it. But we, we will do everything with the citizens against him, until he leaves power. This is our position. We are legitimate in every act of peaceful uprising against this regime ", said Berisha.
