Prime Minister Edi Rama announced on social media that he will travel to Madrid, Spain, given that Albania has been selected as the place where the World Law Congress will be organized in 2027.

Rama emphasized that Albania managed to win the competition to organize the World Law Congress among many strong and democratic candidates from different continents.

"The selection process has been tight and competitive. Albania has participated with strong and historically democratic candidates from different continents." This is written in the letter of the President of the World Association of Jurists, professor of constitutional law and lawyer of great prestige.

"By choosing Albania as the host country of the World Law Congress 2027, the international law community wishes to recognize its young democracy and institutions founded on the rule of law as a guarantee of human dignity and development for its citizens," he continues. "The Congress will be an excellent opportunity for your country to present to the world the great advances towards a strong democracy and respect for the rule of law."

Well, we are about to leave for Madrid for the public announcement of Albania's candidacy to host the World Congress of Law. During these congresses, an award is presented every two years, the World Peace and Freedom Award, which is considered by many to be the Nobel Prize in Law.

"So Albania 2027 will be the site of the NATO Summit, the European Youth Football Championship and now also the World Law Congress. What can I say? Whoever imagined these and many more until a few years ago, let them raise their hand.
