Rama: Our mayors will turn to the police to protect the elections

The prime minister of Albania, Edi Rama, in an electoral meeting with the citizens of Puka, said that the socialist mayors will turn to the police authorities to protect the elections. 

"Violence is done by the opposition and not by the government, and our mayors turn to the police to protect the elections from those who come to take power, as a function of that black page that is in Tirana. What are we doing to the opposition, apart from defeating it", said Rama.

Rama said that Puka has all the potential to reach 100 thousand tourists, while he emphasized that DP is at its worst time.

"Our ambition is to bring tourists to 100,000. Investments in Puka have increased the arrival of tourists. I'm not talking in vain, there is no Puka difference in terms of potential. If 3,000 people go to Belsh every weekend, then why shouldn't this happen in Pukë as well. The Democrats are in trouble, without competitive alternatives, they must pave the way for the Renaissance of that force. We are beating the opposition every time it comes our way. I told you that in 2013, they demanded the resignation of the government, so I warned them that if you continued like this, you will be like this for a long time", said Rama./ CNA.al
