The Government of Kosovo said it had no knowledge/ Rama cancels the meeting from

Prime Minister Edi Rama has canceled the joint meeting of the two governments in Gjakova.

In a press statement, Rama said that the meeting cannot be held in the anticipated format, but in a narrower format.

"I have informed Prime Minister Kurti that in the conditions of hourly worsening of Kosovo's relations with the entire Euro-Atlantic community. This meeting cannot be held in the anticipated format. 

After speaking with Joseph Borell in the afternoon, I told Albini to meet tomorrow in Gjakovë to discuss this situation, which is tearing Kosovo apart dramatically.

Unfortunately, I have to say that we did not agree with Prime Minister Kurti on a format change. He requested that the meeting be held normally, then this is done, but this is not possible, because it is not at a moment to create a false picture of what is actually happening with the reality of Kosovo today."

Meanwhile, regarding the news of the cancellation of the meeting, the spokesperson of the Kosovo government, Përparim Kryeziu, stated that they are not aware of such a decision.

This decision of Rama comes after clashes with Prime Minister Albin Kurti regarding Kosovo-Serbia tensions./ CNA.al
