The Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, participated in the "Strategy of intelligent specialization in Albania (S3)" meeting, where she also spoke about the creation of the Energy Exchange.

Balluku said that the Energy Exchange will need its time to integrate. She emphasized that the government's priority is to provide continuous service, protect citizens from exposure to high prices and contribute to the liquidity of the stock market.

"This year we have set a milestone in the Republic of Albania with the creation of the Albanian Energy Exchange, which will take its time, it will require its own time for liquidity because it is enough to look at other countries that have long had the exchange and they do not function as expected, since the priority that the country wants is to provide continuous service and protect citizens from exposure to high prices and then undoubtedly contribute to the liquidity of the stock market. However, Albania is one of the first countries in the region to have this opportunity", the minister emphasized./ CNA.al
