The Socialist Party won the municipalities of Vora, Kamza and Elbasan with a wide margin of votes.

Immediately after the announcement of the official result by the CEC, the political leader of the SP for Tirana, Erion Veliaj, issued a statement to the media.

He congratulated Rakip Suli for the triumph, while saying that the latter will serve 100% of the citizens with love and dedication.

"The first victory in the country level comes from the District of Tirana. We won the Municipality of Kamza with 60%, to serve 100% of its citizens with love and dedication. Bravo to Rakipi and his team, and good work from tomorrow to take Kamza further and further", said Veliaj, while he did not spare the congratulations for Blerim Shera as well.

"With a 75% victory in Vora, remember. Vora, which had not been broken for 2 decades, had turned into a bastion... Vora gave a message that they want to move forward. Today, I want to thank Blerim and his team. We created a completely winning PS in Vora. We want to thank the citizens who trusted us and we have done a great job. Today they have given us a confidence that will be the SP's record to move Vora forward. Those 25% who did not vote for us, Blair will serve Vora 100%, no one comes out of this election lost. We feel a deep obligation to choose to distance ourselves from Salikja. For these right-wing citizens, they gave us more opportunities, I promise you publicly that we will serve everyone", he emphasized./ CNA.al
