Participation in local elections/ More than 1 million voters vote

From 7:00 this morning, the voting process continues throughout the country for the election of mayors.

The Central Election Commission has published the participation of voters in all polling centers until 15:00.

According to the CEC, there are a total of 3.6 million voters in 5213 polling stations.

On the official website of the CEC, it is reported that by 15:00, 550,812 voted in 2,630 polling stations out of 5,213 polling stations in total . The data are for half of the polling stations at the national level. 

With a simple calculation, that the same trend has been maintained throughout Albania, adding up the total of VCs, it results that over 1 million voters have voted and the participation is about 30%.

The voting process is officially closed at 19.00.
