Pensioner Pëllumb Zade has listed several reasons why he and the Albanians should go to the protest organized by the Democratic Party on July 7.

In a press statement from the blue headquarters, the resident of the New Ring says that he is left with a quarter of his pension and half of his house, after half of his apartment was demolished by the municipality for the Great Ring project.

The citizen says that some of the reasons that lead to the protest are the economic situation, the departure of young people and drug trafficking.

“Unë jam Pëllumb Zade, 79 vjeç, pensionist. Jam një prej 'të mbijetuarve' të Unazës së Re. Jam pak më me fat se të tjerët, sepse kam humbur vetëm gjysmën e shtëpisë. Për veten mund të them se jam një shqiptar me çerek pensioni dhe gjysmë shtëpie.

Ka një mijë arsye për të dalë në protestën e 7 korrikut. Janë rrogat e ulëta, pensionet e mjera, çmimet pa tavan dhe, mbi të gjitha, shpërfillja e qeverisë.

Arsyeja madhore është shpopullimi. Kam një pyetje për të gjithë ata që bëjnë sikur nuk e shohin zbrazjen e atdheut. Kush do të paguajë për pensionin tim sot dhe për pensionin tënd nesër, nëse vendi zbrazet nga forca punëtore dhe arsenali njerëzor!?

Një pyetje e kam edhe për ata që thonë se kanabisi nuk na bën gjë, se ne nuk e përdorim. Po kur të vejë te fëmijët? Po nuk qenë fëmijët e mi do të jenë të tutë.
