43rd protest in front of the City Hall/ Police "shield" Veliaj

The police have become Veliaj's shield by referring the opposition exponents who held the protest in front of Tirana City Hall to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.

According to the police, these citizens have held an illegal protest by blocking the road, obstructing the free movement of citizens, and disrupting public order and peace.

"On 24.01.2025, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance, General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for citizens DT, AK, KB, EE, BK, and T. B, after they held an illegal protest in front of the Tirana Municipality building, in collaboration with other unidentified persons, blocking the road, obstructing the movement of vehicles and citizens, and disturbing public order and peace," the police announced./ CNA
