February 20th protest/ Shehu: The DP is trying to fight its war, the squares will be full

Democratic Party MP Tritan Shehu said today that the DP is trying to wage its war against the socialist government of the last 12 years, through continuous protests.

In a television appearance, Shehu said that the squares will be full at the protest called by the opposition on February 20, when, according to him, a large number of people are expected.

According to Shehu, February 20 is also a great symbolic day, as it coincides with the fall of the bust of former dictator Enver Hoxha.

"February 20 is a great symbolic day. It is the day when the bust of Enver Hoxha was toppled. It is the symbol of the collapse of dictatorships, of the dramatic regimes that this country has gone through. This shows that when there is a popular movement, regimes confront each other. The DP is trying to fight its war, you saw the squares the last two times, a large number of people. On the 20th, the number will be even greater," said Shehu. /CNA
