Journalist Blendi Fevziu said today that Prime Minister Edi Rama has started his fourth term much worse than he himself expected.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Fevziu focused on several recent political issues that have caused a stir, which according to him have dealt Rama a very strong blow.
According to the journalist, the prime minister is in a very delicate position, but it also depends on how the opposition reacts.
"Rama has started a clash with SPAK, it is evident. SPAK's arrival at Balluku's door, Balluku's knock is a knock in the antechamber of the CM. The solution would be for the GJK not to resolve only the specific case, although there is a discussion here, but the GJK should interpret whether a minister can be suspended or not by SPAK. If the GJK were to make a decision in this direction, it would be better. Rama took advantage of this, it gives you a kind of immunity, which prevents SPAK from suspending them.
I don't know if Rama is doing this to guarantee himself and the ministers, or an attempt to return Balluku to the cabinet. Even the constitutionalists here are divided in two. Balluku should leave office after the GJK, but with the enactment of the new law, Balluku will go to the GJK again, since the new law overturns suspension as a concept. But it is thought that at a certain point, the fear of politics is that SPAK has international support and the fear is, what if SPAK decides to suspend Rama from the position of prime minister?
There is no way in a democratic country and a civilized world to have an official accusation and stay in office. It is a democratic norm, you hand over the office. In Albania, did Meta hand over the office? What about Mediu for Gërdec? Did Rusmali hand it over when there was a wiretap that was circulated? So there is a standard. Today Reuters had a delicate article. After the proposal of changes happened, and Reuters is not without work to deal with this. The scandal of the ANA is very big. Rama has received very strong blows. It will depend on how much justice will be able to prove it. How much justice will be able to convince the court and Rama has started his fourth term much worse than he himself expected. Today I think Rama is in a very delicate position, but here it also depends on how the opposition should react", - said Fevziu. /CNA
