A proposal came today from MP Luan Baçi to resolve the impasse in the Democratic Party.

In an appearance for the media, Baçi said that one of the solutions to get the right out of the crisis is to change the name, calling an extraordinary Assembly.

He stated that the Democratic Party may take a slightly different name than it has now, but assuring the Democrats that they are the real Democratic Party.

"DP is what it is and we cannot change it. The name can be changed, an extraordinary Assembly of the DP meets and takes decisions and the decisions are of the most different to name the DP with a slightly different name, but telling the democrats that we are the DP, but for reasons of the stamp , the ones that have usurped us, and do not take refuge in other parliamentary parties that may have electoral costs for us. 520,000 votes received in the unequal elections and we proved again that this is the opposition," Baçi emphasized./ CNA.al
