The Mayor of Kavaja, Fisnik Qosja, spoke about the government's new initiative for training mayors.

Invited to the "Now" show with Erla Mëhilli, Qosja stated that in order to achieve the training of mayors, it is pointless to hold elections.

Among other things, Qosja stated that he would not participate in the training unless it was something that was truly needed.

"If the work is done to train the mayor, then it's in vain that he makes elections."

The people elected me and I will be judged in the next elections.

There is a right in fact. The municipality's employees are not at the right level. There is a commission that deals with hiring.

If we also train mayors, it's useless to have a municipality with an executive community.

Self-checking is being done for everyone.

"I am refusing to participate, financing yes and yes. When it comes to the legal issue, I will do it, but I can definitely violate participation," said Qosja./ CNA
