May 11 results/ Nuri: Election materials did not match diaspora ballots

The legal advisor of the Democratic Party, Franc Nuri, focused today on the processes of appealing the results of the May 11 elections.

In an interview on 'Syri Tv', Nuri expressed concern that the election materials did not match the diaspora ballots.

Nuri said that what has been ascertained by the DP regarding this process is that many technical details during the appeal are not clear.

"The judges of the College are not very clear about how the electoral process works, they are not very clear about the technical details.

There are many technical details in the electoral process in Albania, you need to be very experienced, you need to deal with several elections to understand the mechanisms and how things work in electoral administration from beginning to end.

I have found that the court itself is not very clear about certain provisions, but also about the entirety.

I conclude that the Electoral College is not up to par and seen from this perspective, I have the impression that the role of the College also seems a bit truncated since I do not know how capable a judicial body is to judge issues that they themselves do not have technical knowledge - I would not say legal knowledge because we do not question that - but that they do not have practical and technical knowledge of how the electoral process is conducted.
