Shabani-Lapaj/Sula attacks: I warned of such a scheme

Democratic MP Dashnor Sula reacted today after a series of attacks between the co-leaders of the 'Shqiëpria Bëhet' coalition, Endrit Shabani and Adriatik Lapaj.

Through a post on social media, Sula states that he had warned of such a situation.

Sula said that this situation shows that the new parties have the mentality of the old parties.

"When you dig a hole for someone else and fall in yourself, this is what is happening with Adriatik Lapaj, whom I warned about such a scheme, when he told me that the candidates on the closed list in Elbasan would resign if I ran in this district for the entity he represents. At that time, I asked Mr. Lapaj to put a relative of mine on the closed list and he/she would resign after I won on the open list. Mr. Lapaj wanted me to believe in what is now leaving him out of the Albanian parliament. This shows that the new parties have the mindset of the old parties," Sula writes./CNA
