Këlliçi: Rama has turned Albania into a marketplace for living things and a drug den

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi today accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of turning the country into a market for live animals and a drug den.

Invited to an interview on A2CNN, Këlliçi described Rama as a prime minister who has connections to crime cartels.

"Last week, the US charge d'affaires submitted a letter to SPAK requesting the intensification of the fight against drug cartels, the same ones that President Trump has declared terrorist organizations. In the last four years, not a single kilogram of cocaine has been seized in the port of Durres. Rama has turned Albania into a bazaar of living things and a narco-state, as major international media have described it. A prime minister who has relations with cartels and who corrupts senior US intelligence agents poses a direct threat to US national security," said Këlliçi ./CNA
