Clash between Gjiknuri and Rama over the lists?/ Here's the truth

News circulated in the media today that Damian Gjiknuri had a clash with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

According to reports, Gjiknuri has informed Rama that he does not want to run on the open list and has asked him to include him on the closed list. This request was not accepted by Edi Rama.

Sources from the Socialist Party told CNA that there was no such clash. Prime Minister Rama has only met with the leaders of the regions to discuss the list and today, at the meeting of the Socialist Party Group organized at the Presidency of the Assembly, he announced that no one will be on the closed list from deputies who have not received at least one mandate with the closed list.

So they were part of the closed list and received a mandate. There was no meeting between Rama and Gjiknuri, while the position is not only for Gjiknuri but for all the deputies of the Socialist Party, so it seems that the news of the Gjiknuri-Rama clash is untrue.

Sources from the SP said that the announcement of the list is awaited and there are still no public names who have refused to be on the open list after the Prime Minister's statement that all those who, according to the principle of who has received a mandate, will not be on the closed list will be there.
