The former minister and deputy of the Socialist Party, Olta Xhaçka, spoke yesterday evening in a television interview about the scandal of announcing her husband as a strategic investor.

As for the million euro investment in the south of the country, in the village of Dhërimi, Xhaçka emphasized that a project of that level definitely needs access to the sea. According to her, the investment in the hotel would not be made if the beach connected to this object was not conceived. 

During the interview, she also released the "pearl", after saying that we want the beach so that no one comes from the mountain and pitches our tent there. 

"The conclusion of the contract for the use of the beach is against the fee, it is annual like all other entities, you only have priority so that someone does not come from the mountain and put your umbrellas on the beach when you have an investment of a certain level, i which produces economy, tourism and others. When the investment is of such a level for the use of the beach, it is the only, the only beneficial of the assisted status", she said.

The spaces for public beaches in the south of the country are decreasing every year. Citizens who choose the south coast are almost forced to pay for sunbeds, as public spaces are privately owned. /CNA
