The majority saves Xha?ka/ The mandate does not go to the Constitutional Court

Deputies of the Assembly of Albania voted in today's plenary session to send or not to the Constitutional Court the issue of the mandate of the socialist deputy, Olta Xhaçka.

39 MPs voted in favor of examining this case by the Constitutional Court, while 72 votes were against.

Thus, the opposition's request was dismissed. On the other hand, 26 deputies were present in the Parliament, but did not participate in the vote.

During the voting time, MP Olta Xhaçka was not in the hall. The latter, earlier complained that they are defaming her family, claiming that her husband Artan Gaçi and their family have not benefited from any property illegally in the south./ CNA
