Farce in the Assembly/ Bardhi: Institutional "coup", no one should
Head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi

The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, spoke from the Assembly about the vote that is expected to be held for the mandate of the socialist deputy Olta Xhaçka, if it will be forwarded to the Constitutional Court for consideration.

Bardhi said today that the Assembly should have accepted the motion of 1/10 of the democratic deputies, and that the motions for Olta Xhacka should not be obstructed by the Assembly.

According to Bardhi, this happens because the rule of law and constitutionalism have fallen here.

"When the opposition's constitutional rights are violated, we have no other way but to turn to the Constitutional Court.

And if the Constitutional Court says that the deputies set this Court in motion, therefore it estimates that the Assembly should have accepted the motion of 1/10 of the deputies, so that the motions for Olta Xhacka are not hindered by the Assembly.

The court considers that your decision is a violation of the constitutional right of 1/10 of the deputies. As a result, the opposition's request is well-founded.

You are actually not protecting Olta Xhacka, but the strategic investor's signature, Edi Rama.

Edi Rama also has the responsibility, given the clear law, that according to this decision when the minister of his cabinet benefited directly, Rama could not sign the strategic investor status for her husband.

The decisions of the Constitutional Court, we as MPs can even discuss them, but we can never ignore its decisions. This is where the rule of law and constitutionality have fallen.

The day you question the obligation to implement the decisions of the Constitution, then no one has the right to talk about the Reform in Justice.

This is the fall of the state, there is no longer an institutional "coup"./ CNA
