The Political Leader of the Socialist Party for the Diaspora, Taulant Balla, during a meeting with citizens emphasized that the SP government has brought significant fiscal relief for businesses.

He said that in 2013, small businesses paid a heavy fiscal burden, with 20% VAT and 10% flat tax, while today they benefit from the "zero tax" policy that will continue until 2029.

Balla also mocked the opposition's business program.

" And since I'm in a small business, I'm telling you something that people forget. This small business where we are today paid two sets of taxes in 2013. One was: VAT 20 percent and a flat tax 10 percent, so 10 and 20, 30 percent. This small business, with Edi Rama and the Socialist Party, zero taxes until 2029. Now someone comes out, whose name you know I don't like to mention because I'm done with him, says 'Listen, I'm going to raise the ceiling.' What ceiling are you going to raise? This one, zero taxes with us. How did he tell the other guy about the dividend? Listen, he said: 'We'll make the dividend 10 percent.' That poor guy put his hands on his head.
