The leader of the Mundësia Party, Agron Shehaj, has given an exclusive interview to CNA TV. In this interview, Shehaj focused on the main political event of the year in the country: the parliamentary elections of May 11.

Among other things, Shehaj shared his comment on Prime Minister Edi Rama's statement in a meeting that he would receive 7 mandates in Korça. Shehaj stated that these are simply Rama's wishes.

On the other hand, as the leader of a new political party, Shehaj emphasized that efforts are being made to win a mandate in each district.

Shehaj said that this is not just his opinion, but is also supported by April polls.

"I hadn't heard it, now you're telling me what Edi Rama said, it's not that I actually follow him very much regarding these wishes of Edi Rama. What I can say is that we are clearly the third political force in all of Albania, we are a newly created new political party, and we are above many other new political forces. So we fight almost everywhere for a mandate and if in every district one of the new parties will have a mandate, of course the Opportunity Party will get this mandate. All the April polls that are being conducted now, 20 days before the elections, say exactly the same thing, that we are the first party after the SP and the DP, almost in all of Albania", - said Shehaj. /CNA
