Lobbying contract with American company/ PD reacts: It is being paid for by

The Democratic Party has reacted this evening to the news that an American company will be paid around 6 million dollars to lobby for the Democratic Party in the US. In a statement, the Democratic Party indicates that this amount is being paid 100% by Albanian patriots who have lived and worked in the US for decades.

According to the DP, the goal of compatriots in the US is for the DP to cooperate with Albania's main ally to restore functional democracy and the rule of law in Albania.

In the statement, the Democratic Party emphasizes that there is no financial burden or contractual obligation arising from this agreement.

"Regarding information distributed in the media about the DP's lobbying of the US Government and Congress, we would like to clarify the following:

The Albanian-American community, through the “Make Albania Great Again” foundation, has contracted the “Continental” company to help consolidate the friendly relations of the Democratic Party as the largest opposition force with the US Congress and Government. The goal of our compatriots in the US is the cooperation of the DP with Albania’s main ally to restore functional democracy and the rule of law in Albania.

The Continental company is led by Ambassador Carlos Trujillo, who is also known as President Trump's lawyer and a staunch anti-communist in his stances!

The financial contribution to achieve this goal has been undertaken 100% by Albanian patriots who have lived and worked in the USA for decades, as well as other democrats who have left Albania for the past 10 years due to Edi Rama's regime!

"The Democratic Party, thanking the anti-communist Democrats of the Albanian-American community for their generosity and patriotism, clarifies to the public that although it has agreed to receive this service in full compliance with the laws of both countries, there is no financial burden or contractual obligation arising from this agreement," the statement said./CNA
