"He is greedy"/ Gaz Bardhi: Rama is 'stealing' the European Integration Council from the opposition

The Democratic Party reacted today regarding the situation of former KLA leaders and the protest in their support that was held this Friday in Tirana.
Through a statement, the DP welcomes the protest and has asked The Hague to declare the innocence of the former political leaders of the KLA as soon as possible.
"The Democratic Party once again declares that:
1. The KLA's liberation war in Kosovo is the brightest page of the Albanians' struggles for freedom and national dignity since the wars of Skanderbeg.
2. Without the sacrifice, blood, bravery, and heroism of the KLA freedom fighters, Kosovo would never have been a free and independent country.
3. The KLA war for the liberation of Kosovo is the last liberation war in Europe that ended the long Serbian occupation of Kosovo, and the Kosovo Liberation Army was a loyal ally of the North Atlantic Alliance on the territory of Kosovo during the Alliance's air bombing campaign against the Miloševi? regime in the spring of 1999.
The Democratic Party of Albania is a political force that supports the implementation of national and international law. This party has supported the establishment of the Kosovo Special Court based in The Hague and has followed and is following with the greatest attention the proceedings of this court in the judicial process against former political leaders of the KLA and the Republic of Kosovo: Hashim Thaçi, Jakup Krasniqi, Fatmir Limaj, Rexhep Selimi, etc.
The Democratic Party notes that in this prolonged process, several times no facts or evidence have been presented to the public for any of the charges brought against them. On the contrary, monstrous charges such as that of "organ harvesting" and their trafficking by KLA fighters in various areas of Albania have been dismissed.
No facts or evidence have been published to prove direct orders from former KLA leaders for specific crimes. This process has definitively proven that it is based on fabricated files by Belgrade and other enemies of the Albanian nation who seek to equate the aggressor, the occupier with the liberator.
For all of this, the Democratic Party calls on the trial panel of the Kosovo Special Court in The Hague to declare the innocence of the former political leaders of the KLA and Kosovo as soon as possible, in full respect of international principles of justice.
"Finally, the Democratic Party welcomes the peaceful protest of the comrades of the former KLA and Kosovo leaders, as it condemns any attempt to manipulate it by Albanian-speaking Albanophobes, branded enemies of Kosovo," the statement said. /CNA
