The new Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu and the President Bajram Begaj

After the oath in the Presidency, there was a reaction from the new Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu.

Through a status on social networks, Koçiu gives a message of thanks to Prime Minister Edi Rama, the deputies and appreciates the work done by her predecessor, Ogerta Manastirliu.

The minister declares that she is aware of the challenges that await her and the commitment she must show.

" With great gratitude and responsibility, I am honored to accept the position of Minister of Health and Social Protection. I want to express my most sincere thanks to Prime Minister Edi Rama, the Assembly of the Republic of Albania and to all those who believed in me to serve the country in this important task.

Also, I want to appreciate the extraordinary work of my colleague, Ogerta, and the dedicated professionals who have served this ministry before me. I am aware of the challenges we face and the dedication we must show, all together, therefore with your support I am confident that we will continue with the great changes in this vital sector for the citizens.

Health and social protection will continue to be the main focus of this government, which has paved the path of transformation all these years. All this, with the sole aim of satisfying every Albanian family, the needs for these essential services ", writes Albana Koçiu./ CNA
