President Ilir Meta has made a warning, as he spoke about the political situation and the handover of the mandate of the President.

Meta said that on July 25, the challenge of restoring accountability for Albanians will begin.

The Head of State stressed in the show "Aktualitet" that all those who made the calculations to execute political pluralism and democracy in Albania, will be deeply disappointed.

"I believe that I have an inevitable mission to commit to the restoration of democracy in the country, the entire system of accountability and protection of national interests that are systematically undermined. This is a challenge that starts on July 25, and it is a challenge that will bring together all honest and patriotic Albanians.

I am very confident that we will show that we are truly a people of eagles. "All those who did the calculations to execute political pluralism and democracy in Albania, in order to destroy our national interests, will be deeply disappointed," said the President.
