President Ilir Meta has described the new judicial map as a consequence of not acting in time for the implementation of the Justice Reform.

Meta said that he warned of the consequences, but claims that there was no will for these issues to be reviewed and for a comprehensive reflection to be made.

"We have warned of all the consequences of not acting in time for the implementation of the Justice Reform. We have made every effort for Albania not to be left without a Constitutional Court, we have made every effort for Albania not to be left without a Supreme Court and we have warned of this collapse in the entire justice system.

There was no will for these issues to be reviewed, for a comprehensive reflection to be made, to see what has gone wrong and how we will prevent the growing problems that citizens face regarding the justice system.
