The situation between the majority and the opposition in the Parliament is not the best, and it seems that the confrontation over the request of the DP to go with a technical government in the 2025 elections, will not end soon.

In an interview for CNA TV, the deputy of the DP for Fier District, Luan Baçi, when asked if he will continue with the same objectionable form in the Parliament, stated that the DP and the opposition were left with no other choice than the SP- here in power.

"During these four years, there have only been clashes and injustice from the majority towards the opposition. Currently, there is a strong aggravation of the situation, always due to the fault of the majority and its provocations. Mass expulsions of DP deputies without a law, without supporting it in the regulation of the Parliament, but with the arrogance of the strength of cards, definitely provoke a counter-response from our side. Our absence in Parliament is done on purpose by the majority. So we have no other way. We do not ask for privileges from this majority, but our right to exercise our right as an opposition deputy, which the majority is denying us. Our action will continue. We cannot have free and equal elections with this government and this Prime Minister. Therefore, the DP will continue to insist on forcing the majority for a technical government", he said.

Regarding the cooperation between the opposition parties, where some of them do not seem to support civil disobedience, Baçi said that PD will continue its action in any case.

"Cooperation has been permanent in these four years, especially with the parliamentary opposition parties, they are even more visible. It has been a very fruitful collaboration. In the situations we are in, there has been representation, but it must be said that the PD is the locomotive of the opposition and other opposition parties from time to time join it with their weight in the electorate. I think that in the future they will be even more present. But let me add that this does not hinder the PD at all in its political quest. The DP has always been open to all opposition parties, whether parliamentary or non-parliamentary, and which are against this regime and against Edi Rama", the deputy emphasized.
