The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, has commented on the detention of Albanian journalists by the Greek authorities. In a statement to the media, the leader of the opposition stated that this is an unacceptable and absurd act that should never have happened.

"Regarding the Greek government, I heard Edi Rama thanking the Greek government for the intervention. How true this can be, I cannot say. However, I call the ban absolutely unacceptable, absurd and should never have happened.

Journalists, not only journalists, but free movement on the basis of EU rules cannot be applied with selectivity or impressions for this or that journalist.
