Former deputy Astrit Patozi has raised his concern regarding the difficulties that parties and new figures have to penetrate politics.
He stated that the constitutional changes of 2008 created a political system that was exterminating for any new initiative.
In his analysis of the situation in the Democratic Party, Patozi said that Deputy Prime Minister Sali Berisha does not aim to overthrow the government, but to preserve the monopoly of the leader of the opposition.
"Berisha does not intend to overthrow the government, but to maintain the monopoly of the opposition party. That in Albania you get rich even by being in the opposition. Albania has turned into a bipolar system. Berisha would be a political project if he started with the 2008 changes, he is the only one who has never spoken about them. There are two roosters in Albania, the bigger one has the lion's share, which is the prime minister. The battle between them is not for the Albanians", said Patozi./ CNA.al
