Erjon Braçe will no longer be the leader of the Socialist Party in the Fier Region. In a recent television appearance, Braçe emphasized that his desire was to continue and be close to the people, but added that it is a decision that he must accept.

"I didn't want to move from my constituency and I have a reason. I'm not one of those MPs who changes constituency, not to escape my responsibilities, not because I haven't fulfilled my responsibilities, I'm not one of those MPs who changes phone number, I have the same number I've had in Berat since the companies settled, I haven't changed it because this is the relationship I have with the people.

Was the decision to remove me from my area explained to me? I don't have a why. Or, I do have a why, but of course I don't want to take it for granted.

My why is very simple, I find it very difficult to leave people in the middle of the road, very simple, I find it equally difficult to erase what is my work and start something from scratch.
