Marco Albert appointed new Italian ambassador to Albania

Marco Alberti has been elected as the new Italian ambassador to Albania.

Through a post on the social network "X", the Italian Foreign Minister announced the news of the appointment of the new ambassador to Albania.

"The political situation in Albania is conflictual. In a few months there will be parliamentary elections and I hope that the electoral campaign will be based on facts and programs. Because Albanians are interested in the programs of political parties and what they offer to improve their lives.

We respect the internal dynamics of Albanian politics and it is up to the latter to decide. What is important is that Albania will remain an important partner for Italy.

"It is a long relationship that will last and Italy will be by Albania's side regardless of the governments that will be at the helm of the country," declared Bucci from Gjirokastra, where he was honored with the title of honorary citizen by the city's municipality.
