After former Prime Minister Sali Berisha announced the start of the protests on July 7, the Democratic Party has made a call for all Albanians.

The DP demands that this protest be spread throughout the country against the system, which describes it as monistic.

DP announces that it will hold meetings with other opposition parties, while emphasizing that Democrats are determined to protect the interests of our country.

"July 7 is intended by the Democratic Party to be the date of the big protest in Tirana. To do everything to start our battle, this is important battle, but this battle must be spread all over the country. As a common front let us do an intensive work for the July 7 protest. To commit to further protests, this system is monistic.

This is no longer a Constitutional power but a power derived from the patronageists. There is no freedom without a vote. The only way to guarantee freedom is to vote. Let us rise to this powerful protest. Let's not turn Tirana into a small Belgrade. It is the capital of the country. We will meet with other opposition parties.
