The brother of the SP deputy is arrested

The brother of MP Eduard Ndreca, A. Ndreca, was arrested after an anti-cannabis operation in Lezhë.

Two people were arrested during the operation.

"The coded police operation "Image 1" is finalized, in implementation of the special police operational plan, against the cultivation of narcotic plants.

They had adapted an environment (stan), in the forests of the village of Kashnjet, for the cultivation of cannabis sativa narcotic plants, through lamps that were supplied with illegal electricity connections, 2 citizens were arrested in the act.

Following the investigative and procedural actions for this case, a 32-year-old suspect involved in this criminal activity was arrested.

2973 narcotic plants (some of them seedlings ready to be cultivated in the ground), a quantity of narcotic substance cannabis sativa, 50 lamps, ventilation equipment, other items used for this criminal activity and 3 mobile phones were seized from this premises.

Further, in the apartments of the 2 people arrested in the act, the Police found 3 cold weapons and 1 mask.

As a result of the maximum commitment of the Police services, in order to implement the special police operational plan whose objective is the prevention, identification and attack, from the initial stage, of attempts to cultivate narcotic plants in open or closed premises, the services of the Police Station of the Lezhë Police, in cooperation with the services of the Special Operational Force of the DVP Lezhë, with the support of information from the police intelligence, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Image 1".

During the operation, in the forests of the village of Kashnjet, an environment (booth) fitted with lamps that were supplied with illegal electricity connections, for the cultivation of cannabis sativa narcotic plants, was discovered.

It was also possible to identify, catch and arrest in flagrante delicto the suspected perpetrators of this case, citizens AN, 27 years old and E. Sh., 28 years old, both residents of Koplik. Further, following the investigative and procedural actions for this case, the citizen AN, 32 years old, resident of Lezhë, was also detained, as he is suspected of being involved in this criminal activity.

From this premises, the Police seized as material evidence: 2973 narcotic plants (some of them seedlings ready to be cultivated in the ground), a quantity of narcotic substance cannabis sativa, 50 lamps, ventilation equipment, other items that and 3 cell phones served this criminal activity.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further actions", according to the police.
