Details from the meeting of the Albanian delegation, headed by the head of the Republican Party Fatmir Mediu, at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly have been disclosed.

The focus of the discussions were the developments in Ukraine, the Russian aggression as well as the consequences that this war is creating in Europe and beyond.

Senior representatives of the Pentagon and the State Department clearly expressed their position regarding Ukraine and the readiness of the US for support to Ukraine.

Assistant Secretary Donfried and senior Pentagon director Winternitz said that not only Russia, but also China is becoming a new threat.

Ish-këshilltari për sigurinë John Bolton, teksa iu përgjigj pyetjes së drejtuar nga z. Mediu se “ç’duhet të bëjë NATO lidhur me sulmet kibernetike të Iranit mbi Shqipërinë?”, u shpreh se ka ardhur koha të veprohet në bazë të artikullit nr. 5 të NATO-s, për mbrojtjen kolektive, të përcaktohet me qartë se kush quhet akt lufte.
