The head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, described the next meeting of the Electoral Reform Commission as a farce and a facade.

In a statement to the media after the meeting with the opposition MPs, Bardhi said that the corporations of 2020 are being repeated.

He declared that the majority should put the real electoral reform on the agenda.

"The Assembly has a tradition of the functioning of this commission. The opposition and the majority must not simply have equal numbers, but the will of one party cannot be imposed on the other.

The continuation of the farce by repeating the corporations of 2020, in a one-sided electoral reform that has been announced for Friday, is another facade of those who for 22 months blocked the electoral reform enabling Edi Rama to be elected on May 14, with the same problems that OSCE-ODIHR has certified them as flagrant violations of the elections in Albania and that statement has been repeated bringing them to attention.
