"Gërdeci"/ Mediu appears again at GJKKO

This Wednesday morning, former minister Fatmir Mediu appeared in the Court against Corruption and Organized Crime.

GJKKO will continue the questioning of witnesses in the trial for the explosion of the dismantling factory.

Some of them have testified, while in total there are 71 witnesses who will speak about the tragedy of Gërdec.

We remind you that the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime accuses Mediu of "abuse of duty" and "abuse of duty in cooperation with military command staff" regarding the Gërdec explosion file.

The lawyers of former minister Fatmir Mediu have requested that the case be dismissed for the effect of anticipation, since according to them their client is not to blame for the state's inaction over the years./ CNA
