State Matura 2025/ Manastirliu: To guarantee smooth conduct in 145 exam centers

On the eve of the launch of the 2025 State Matura, the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, held a meeting with 145 exam administrators across the country, highlighting the key role they play in the smooth running of this national process.

"You who are an important part and a key factor for the smooth running of one of the most important processes of the education system, the State Matura. The State Matura is a quality certificate for the education system, an important moment for our students, for high school graduates, as we have the opportunity, through a unified test for the subjects you have in testing, starting from Foreign Language, to Mathematics, to Language and Literature and to elective subjects, to have complete evidence of the stage where the education system is in relation to achievements.

Therefore, the State Matura is important in several aspects, firstly to measure the achievements of our students, secondly to establish a bridge of communication between the pre-university system and the university, because it is an important moment for students, for parents, to guarantee that through this transparent, meritocratic certification, with integrity, the path to choosing the branches of study is opened for our children, our students, our high school graduates, and this is very important for us to guarantee. You, as administrators of the State Matura exams, must preserve and be the guarantor of this process", said the Minister of Education and Sports.

Minister Manastirliu spoke about the importance of the correct administration of the State Matura process:

"From the moment of distributing the exam papers, that is, from the moment of receiving them at the Educational Services Center and until their distribution in a discreet, careful manner, by implementing all the rules of administration of the State Matura process, which you are familiar with and today you will also have a training on these rules, and until the collection of the tests and submission to the QSHA to begin the evaluation process. There are 145 testing centers for the State Matura included in this State Matura map that requires maximum accuracy, maximum correctness, maximum transparency, maximum responsibility from all of us.

"Your work as test administrators is of utmost importance and I would very much like to see you as a guarantor of this process. There should be no tolerance in relation to the process, in relation to all those standard procedures that will have to be followed by each of you in an exemplary manner," said Manastirliu.

Minister Manastirliu emphasized that this process is not only technical or administrative but is a reflection of the quality of education that the Ministry of Education and Sports is building every day.

"You are selected for your skills, selected for the capacities shown in your work to manage important processes within the education system. We are convinced that with the work we have done in these years, with the commitment we have shown in relation to improving the infrastructure, in relation to investments in information technology and also with the support we have given to teachers, we will have and will see an improvement in quality, and I am convinced that this will be shown precisely by international and national assessments", said the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu. /CNA
