Romina Kuko, who ran on the safe list of the Korça District for the Socialist Party, has resigned from her position as Deputy Minister of Interior.
Kuko has announced her resignation to Prime Minister Edi Rama and Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi.
"Following the election process of May 11, 2025, in which I ran for MP, and after the completion of this process and qualification on the winning list, I submit my request for release from duty as Deputy Minister of Interior.
In this context, I submit my resignation from this position, thanking you for the trust and opportunity to serve in this important task," her request states, among other things./ CNA
