The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, published footage and the reception at a meeting of the senior advisor at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Western Balkans, Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia, Emine Lekaj-Prljaskaj.

She previously served as a 3-term deputy in the Assembly of the Republic of Croatia, representing the Albanian community and other national minorities. Lekaj-Prljaskaj was also the leader of the Croatia-Albania Friendship Group and actively participated in promoting the integration of Albanians into Croatian society.

In this open meeting, Berisha expressed his appreciation for Ms. Lekaj-Prljaskaj's valuable contribution to the dignified representation of the rights of the Albanian community in Croatia and to the rapprochement and cooperation between the two countries, and acquainted her with the latest developments in Albania.

Berisha writes that he informed him about the electoral farce of May 11, 2025, in the conditions of the first and only narco-state in Europe. In the meeting, Berisha emphasized that restoring the right of Albanians to free voting is the major objective of the DP and its allies. /CNA
